In this short scene, Ren tells his brother that he hasn't seen him for a month, and that he's increased his dou-qi to the fourth level. Ren tells him to relax, because he'll make his cousin suffer a beating at the upcoming age ceremony. He tells Ren that he doesn't know how to compete with the other students at the age ceremony, and he'd like Ren to teach him a few skills so that he can beat them at the ceremony. Ren says that's fine, he just wants to teach Ren a few things. He'll pass on the zhi-yin skill to Ren, and Ren will pass the animation skill on to Ren. Ren is impressed by Ren's strength, and says that if Ren can't keep up, he should just say "no" to anyone who looks down on him. Two months later, Ren says, Ren has awakened a monster.
