In this chapter, we learn that the Heavenly Phoenix clan is planning an attack on the ancient ruins of the Ming dynasty. The two warriors, the Ming and the Pandava, are now joined by a third warrior, who is also a member of the heavenly phoenix tribe. The Pandava leader tells the Ming that he and the other warriors will have to retreat because the enemy forces are stronger than they are. He tells them that he will pay them back for what they did the day before. He also tells them to prepare for a bloodbath because the forces of heaven and earth will fight to obtain heaven. He says that he has not seen anyone from the Heavenly phoenix clan, but he does know that the clan has been busy looking for them recently. He wonders if it is the old enemy of the clan. He decides to go and look for them and bring them back.
