Now that the pill realm has been closed for eight days, xiong wonders if his brother is in trouble. Worried that he might suffer a qi deviation, he goes in to check on his brother. He wonders if he has gone through any healing or cultivation, and wonders whether he will fail to advance. Believing that he has been tricked by the alchemists, he decides to leave the valley. He tells his brother that he was sick of the valley and wants to go out, and that his brother pushed him out of the way. Unsure of how far he is from the exit, he asks his brother if he is worried that he will tell the Council about his attempt to kill them. Ignoring his brother's questions, he says that he would not have found his way to the valley otherwise, if it were not for the help of his brother and his friend.
