The ghost of the old man is still alive, but he has been tricked by the ghost of a brainless animal. The old man tells the ghost that he is using the animal's brainless body to attack him. The ghost responds by saying that he was waiting for him, and that he will kill him on the spot. He then tells him that his nine ghosts have destroyed his meridians and bones. He says that he wants him to die ten times over, and the ghost says that they are not heavenly lords, but stinky brats. The two men argue about whether or not they are stronger than the other heavenly lords. The men decide that they should capture the troublemakers, and they will give the chief a chance to play with them.
