In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named "Xiao yan" . He is a young man who has just returned from a battle in which he fought nine ghosts. He has come to rescue his master, the old man, who has been imprisoned in a dungeon. He tells his master that he is here to save him from the nine ghosts and that he loves his master very much. He asks his master to help him escape from the dungeon so that he can return to his own home. The old man tells him that he should kill everyone in the dungeon and bring his little ancient dragon back to his home. He says that he will return his favor to his master today. He then asks if anyone has been allowed to die in this dungeon. The answer is no, everyone has been killed. He wonders if there is a master who has opened a gate that has allowed them to escape. He also wonders if he has been treated badly by his master after not seeing him for so long. He wants to know if the three thousand flames that have burned in the sky are the same ones that he has burned in his heart. He decides that they must find a place where they can "wake the flame" and save him.
