In this chapter, we learn that the alchemists of the black horn territory have a lot of money to play with, so they don't really need to ask for help from the local people. The alchemists, however, do need to get their hands on some of the herbs and ingredients that they've been using to make potions for the past year or so. They're still waiting for the teacher to wake up, and they're not sure if he'll be able to do it. The teacher says that he's ready to go, but he still needs some more ingredients. He asks the teacher for some of his essence blood, which is the blood of the seven realms demon beast. He also asks for bones, which are the bones of the dou ancestor. The two of them decide to head out to help the teacher.
