The ji family is trying to kill one another, and the light figure from the previous battle is there, too. The light figure tells the ji family that he is going to escape. He tells them that he will not go to the "light fluctuation sacred land" because the jis are sending him to the northern part of the country soon. The two of them decide to leave the prairie first and then travel together.
