In this chapter, Ming-yingxiong scolds his brother for cheering the wrong side of the battle. Ming-yongxiong tries to cheer him up by saying that all his men have been wiped out and that he is the leader of the army. He says that he has left all of his men in the hands of the enemy, and that his soul is out of control. He asks if he is here to fight the enemy or not, and he says that this will not be a fight. He then says that the clouds have descended and that they are "trampling on the brink" of danger. A young man tells Ming-yiong that he wants to watch a meteor shower falling from the sky with him, and Ming-Yiong says he is happy to see the meteor shower, but he is sad because he is one of them
