In this chapter, we learn that the three young men are trapped in a giant coffin, which has been placed on Mount Tai by the ancients. The coffin is sealed tightly, and the only way for them to escape is to eat and drink non-stop, as they are not strong enough to fight off the forces of nature. The three men, however, are determined to survive, and they believe that they will be able to find a way out of the coffin.
