In this short scene, we are introduced to the three main characters of the story. The first is the jade warrior, who tells the others that he will pass the "great void technique" on to them. He tells them that he is going to "activate a secret treasure" and that they should surround the enemy soldiers from all directions. He warns them that they will not be able to escape because they are surrounded by "men in capes" .
