The chapter opens with a flashback to pang bo's meeting with Ming and Ming's parents. Ming reminds Ming that he's been separated from his family for a while, and Ming reminds him that he can't go back to his old friends. Ming tells Ming that the li family is a big family with a lot of members who are cultivating outside of the kingdom. He also tells Ming about the fact that his son and daughter-in-law used to be good friends with the immortals, but Ming didn't want to upset them. Ming says that he needs to find out more about the family, because one of the members of the family who is cultivating outside the kingdom is really, really good. Ming is worried that this person is going to be a bad influence on his son, and he decides to make some preparations.
