In this chapter, we learn that the elder han is the benefactor of the Jiang family, which means that if he were to harm the young man, he would have to pay a heavy price. The elder han, however, is not worried about this. He says that he is not senile, and that he has never heard of a young man being captured, tied up, and taken away by the horsemen. He tells the boy that he would rather stall for as long as possible, so that he might be able to break the seal of the old bastard. He also says that the herbs in the cauldron are enough to refine his pill, which will help him break through the seal. He then asks if he has any last words, and after seven days of whoosh waiting, he will have his break through inside the cauldron. He feels so dizzy that if something happens to him, everything would go to waste. He wants to keep him awake and conscious, and refine the pill that way. The voice of the holy scriptures appears again, and the seal is finally loose. The holy black jade lotus is the most precious spiritual herb.
