About This Chapter
Chapter 5 opens with a flashback to the beginning of the school year, when the students are discussing the conflict between Mingo and Chingling. Mingo asks if Chingling is the one who ordered Chingling to rob him. Chingling tells Mingo that he is not responsible for Chingling's actions, but Mingo points out that Chingling had a conflict with Mingo back in school. Chinging says that Mingo should not have said such things, and Mingo reminds Chingling that they are all classmates, and that they should support one another. They all agree that they do not want Mingo to take the instrument away from Chingling, and they all agree to share their bronze bells and incense.
