The servant girl tells Pan that she is in the middle of the black water river and that she will not let him escape. She says that she has the entire holy book and needs time to think about it. If she must, she will fight Pan and they will go down together. Pan says that he has seen the mark on his body and that if he dies, the mark will appear at the side of the ji family. He says that if Pan had listened to him earlier, he would have realized that the mark was on his hand. He squeezes it hard enough to make it look like the mark is on his heart. He compares himself to the demon emperor and says that sooner or later, he will beat him up. He tells Pan to find a husband for her and to not be shy. He has a friend named pang bo and he thinks this is the best way for her to get married. He wants her to be free because she is afraid of her family and brother coming for her. Pan tells her that he will kill her if she does not write the holy book.
