Chapter 46: Induction into the humble peak. The narrator tells us that he's done for the time being, and that the elders should listen to what he has to say. He says that if the ji family tries to kill him in the future, he'll step in. The truth sect, he says, would be the safest place around. The elders should choose the "most ordinary and inconspicuous" peak to live at, and then they'll be able to select the new disciples. The elder li tells the narrator that the "humble peak" has fallen, and they should choose another peak. He tells the elder li that the other elders have gathered to try and take ziyue into their own "peak," and that they must have seen how strong she is. He's going to take him down.
