In this chapter, we learn that Ulysses has survived many trials and tribulations in his life. He wants to help the two of them, and he wants to be a part of their future. He tells them that he is their true ancestor, and that they should not call him "Ulysses" because he is not their real ancestor. He says that he was with them before they met, and they should be able to help each other in the future.
