The tail end tells everyone that the records officer betrayed them and that they need to get Ulysses back. Silver Sands says that Ulysses will die if they don't do something about it. He says that he wants to save Ulysses, but that saving Ulysses means that the real ancestor will die. He wants to hear everyone's thoughts over there, but Silver Sands wants to know what's going on. He sees a flower that looks like a spider lily, and it seems to be moving. He thinks that it's the tower that's issuing orders to evil spirits, and that this is the beginning of the war. He tells Silver Sands to shut up, and follow his orders.
