In this chapter, we learn that Ulysses's body has been temporarily suppressed by a "vaccine" that's hidden behind the door. This means that, even if Ulysses were to die, he'd still be able to get the vaccine. Ulysses, however, is still in the hands of the records officer, and he'll probably die before the vaccine is given to him.
