The Time Traveller and Dr. Bledsoe leave to search for the remnant of the time machine, but they decide to stay and say goodbye to their family instead. The TT says that he will stay with his family for a few days, and then they can go back to the future. He says that they can stay for another few days if they want, and that they will be able to find the wormhole again in another time. He tells the TT that he used to come to this place a lot when he was a kid, and now that he is older, he believes that he and the TT used to travel in different time periods. He asks the TT to show him the ruins of the future, but the TT refuses, saying that he cannot remember anything. He wants to go see the giant rocket launch tower, but he is lost, and asks if the TT wants to stay.
