The next day, Hiroshi and the rest of the squad meet with Hiroshi's friend, Shmoop, to discuss how to train him as a surface-to-air fighter pilot. Shmooper is impressed by the training Hiroshi is doing, and he is eager to learn more about it. Hiroshi, however, is not interested in learning how to control a fighter jet; he wants to learn how to use his brain electrodes to control the machine. He also wants to know more about the ocean, which he has never seen before. Shmiper is excited by the idea of using his electrodes to track his movements, but he is also curious about how Hiroshi knows this.
