About This Chapter
It's now lunchtime, and the nobles have gathered at the palace for a picnic. The nobles are worried about the property annexation that's been going on for the last few years, and they're worried about what will happen to their families if they don't get their property back. They're also worried about whether or not they'll be able to support their families in the long run, since they've lost so much of their own land and income. The peasants are also worried, because they feel that their land has been taken over by the aristocracy, and that their families will lose their land and wealth if they continue to work for the aristocracy. They want to make sure that they can hold onto their land, even if they have to leave it to the aristocracy to do so. They also want to be sure that the aristocracy doesn't take advantage of them, since noblewomen in the country usually inherit property, but they can't participate in politics, which leaves them with nothing to spend their money on.
