The next morning, Ani wakes up to find that she's seen the idiot in her pants. She's worried that the two of them are going to get into a fight, but Ani reassures her that they're not going to. She tells the idiot that it's time for him to "go goof off" and forget all about his studies. He's going to have to "do something" with his three years of schooling, and he's got to "forget studying" if he wants to do anything with his life. He tells Ani that if she doesn't do anything, he'll have her locked up for a minor crime. Ani is horrified by this idea, and she tells him that she can't even go out with him because she saw him in his pants the other day.
