Back at the hotel, the Governess tells Lockwood that she's going to the school building with a new guy. Lockwood thinks that's a good idea, but he's not so sure. He's worried that the new guy will be too personal, and that he'll be too loyal to his employer. The Governess says that she needs to tell the guy about it, but she doesn't know how to do that. She's also worried about the guy's reputation, and she wonders if it's true that the guy is a friend of hers. Lockwood says that it isn't true, and he can't figure out how to get rid of the guy. He tells her that she can do her best at school, too, if she wants.
