In this chapter, we learn that the girl's name is kana and that she's from a poor family. She's been studying hard for the last two years, but her grades aren't improving. We learn that she works at a fancy hotel, which is kind of like a fancy department store, except that there's no food. The only thing that's keeping her from getting a promotion is that her teacher, who's very popular with the students, is very close to her now. We also learn that kana's parents have died, which means that she can't hire any more students. So now she has to work at a reception desk, where she'll have to deal with her teacher's constant nagging about her grades.
