About This Chapter
The next morning, hotaru wakes up in the middle of the night and wonders why he didn't go to bed earlier. He wakes up to find that he's been woken up by buchou, who has missed a call from him. He's so upset that he can't even look away from the other side of the river, where he is standing between the heroine and the hero. He wants to know why he hasn't shown up for the Thursday afternoon meeting. He tells her that he went out of his way to get her, and she brushed him off. That's not the way she's supposed to behave, he tells her. He goes on to say that he spent the entire day cleaning her room, and that her outfit today is "even more slapdash" than it was last night. He asks her if she can help him, but she won't tell him.
