In this chapter, we are introduced to Amemiya, who has just returned from a business trip with her husband, Hiroyuki. Hiroyuki is on his way back from a meeting with his colleagues, and she tells him that she is going on the trip with him because she is dissatisfied with her life. She tells him to go home and enjoy herself, and he agrees to go with her. He tells her that he is a good husband, and that sometimes she is discontented with life, but that she should just go home to enjoy herself. He also tells her to buy her some new clothes, since she is wearing princess-like clothes. He says that he does not usually see her in a cheerful mood, but he does see her carrying her princess-style clothes, which he thinks is a sign of her love for him.
