Back at school, Haruma tells his friends that he's returned Asuka's power. He's not sure if they're on her side or not, but he wants to make sure. Haruma says that he knows how to conduct a ceremony like this, so he'll be ready to go. He tells them that the roof of the room is leaking, so they should move the altar. He also says that they should shake the circle to get rid of any curses that might come from it. He doesn't want them to get cursed, though, because he likes the idea of being able to do cool things like this. He says that the circle is just a mark to get them in it, and that if they get cursed it's because someone kicked the circle in the past. He wants to stop the ceremony even though Haruma is in his place, but Haruma reminds him that they still need all seven witches to be present for the ritual. He asks why everyone is back so early, and they all say that they have to go to the nearby high school to have a meeting. When Haruma asks why, they all tell him that he should be there to witness the ritual because he solved the riddle. He wonders why he became a presi dent, and he knows that he has no other choice.
