The chapter opens with the president of the student council of the school talking about the rumors that have been circulating among the students. He says that the school is renowned for its academic standards and that it is hard to believe that a student like this would attend such a prestigious school. The president says that he would like to look at the students and see if there is any way that the students could switch back and forth between genders. He suggests that they pull the girls back and pull the boys back so that they will not be confused. He then tells the students that they are to take their make-up exam for the second year. The students are to switch bodies with him and take the "shut super" exam. He tells them that the exam is studying and that he will now hold a "make-up test" for the students to pass. He asks the girls to join the basketball team and join him in the study hall. The girls slip out of the room and slip into the hallway. The crowd is so fast that they cannot see a thing. They wonder if it is him who is snapping pictures and running away. They also wonder if the girl in the picture is the same girl that they saw in the locker room. They hear the girls running away and wonder if they have seen him snap a picture and run away. Finally, they wonder if she is in the same picture as them. They are sure that she is the one who is running away from them.
