The chapter opens with a soliloquy by miyamura, who explains that he and Shreishi will switch bodies once they have changed the future. They will not be able to do so until the future has been changed. He tells the others that they are being shady, and that they should all be more con-siderate. He then tells them that they will have to wait outside until they can switch back to their bodies. He asks them to release him, but they refuse, saying that they cannot do it until they change the future
