About This Chapter
On the fourth day after the club trip, Odagiri tells her friend, Yamada San, that she has something to do. She tells her that she never knew she could swim, but now that she's older, she realizes that she can do it. She says that she doesn't mind if the teacher comes in at noon, as long as it's not embarrassing. She also says that the telepathy power is awesome, because it lets her do whatever she wants, even if it makes her feel uncomfortable. The only problem, she says, is that you have to be crazy to use the power, because you can only reject things that are true. This is why the power is so awesome: it lets you do whatever you want, even when it makes you uncomfortable. Um, yamada, there's a crazy picture in your head. It's from Mimura, who sent a message to her saying that she needs to go to the ocean. She's already in the ocean, and she needs help. She wants to go back to the shore, but she can only do it by herself. She asks if she can have feelings for him, and he says that he's never been able to speak to a guy like that before. He asks how she came to accept his power without asking questions. He says that's because he'd like to get Mimura to talk to him, but Mimura isn't a witch, so he won't be able to do that. They head back to their ship, but before they leave, they run into another person who didn't accept Mimura's power.
