The chapter opens with a flashback to the previous chapter, in which we learn that the two of them have been hanging out together. The flashback shows that, as soon as the chapter began, the two had begun to argue, and that they had been interrupted by the sound of a knock at the door. This is the first time we see the two arguing, and it is clear that they are not in love with each other.
