About This Chapter
It's the end of the festival, and now it's time to talk to Nino about his dreams. He doesn't know about his dream of becoming a teacher, but he does know that he wants to be a good person. Nino asks if he thinks this goal is beyond his reach, and Nino tells him that he's not sure. He tells Nino that he used to teach, and he heard that Nino wanted to become a teacher. He's happy to hear that, because he'd like to support other people like that. He says he'll keep thinking about this until he finishes his dream. He asks if Nino's dream of being his mother is true, and she says that it is, but that she'd rather be a teacher than be his mother. She says she's glad he didn't come to the festival to see him dance, because that would have been a good opportunity for him to meet Nino. She also says that he should have told him about his ex-wife, who was a student of hers, and his father, who is a former coworker.
