The next morning, the boys prepare the curry for the next day's school camping trip. When the girls arrive, they are surprised to find that the rice has already been cooked and that the boys have not yet eaten it. They are also surprised to learn that the girls have been dancing with Tamura and that she has rejected the folk dance. The girls are pleased that they have been able to find a girl friend for the first time in their lives. They ask the boys to take care of the rice, and the boys do so. When they hear that the next group of students is coming, they decide to go back to the camp.
