The chapter opens with a clanging of the car's bell. It's been a while since we've heard anything from the boss, but he's glad to hear that he made it back on time. He's also glad that the other girls didn't freak out about what he said on the ride home, because they're all so different from each other. He also tells us that he'd like to be a teacher one day, and that he wants to tell everyone about it. He doesn't know if he'll get a response from his dad yet, though, because he hasn't spoken to him yet. But he does want to thank the manager for lending him the car, and he hopes that the manager will take notice of her.
