The chapter ends with the announcement that the rest of the girls will not be able to continue their studies after the end of the academic year. They will instead have to commute to school from home, which will be very difficult for them. They are nearing their graduation and have only six months to go before they are to graduate. They ask why they didn't say something to the girls about their decision to go to school alone. They wonder if they are really the same person, and if they really wanted to graduate together. The girls agree that they are amazing, and that they will be lonely without each other. They tell each other that they want to be friends, but that they don't know what to do with each other now that they're apart. They say they'll take care of each other, and then they all head back to their homes.
