The scene opens with a conversation between Mishima and her father. Mishima tells her father that the festival is coming up, and Mishima invites her father to come along. He tells her that he has something to tell her before the festival, and she tells him that she wants him to go to the culinary school as well as to the school of his choice. He says that he will not give up on his choice of school because of his father's visit, and they begin the festival.
