When the group gets back to the library, Usui and Sugumi are talking about how tired they are and how they need more help with their studies. Usui says she'll be able to help them with their grades since she's been tutoring them more, but she doesn't know how to do that since they're studying on their own. She also says she wants to focus on her own studies for her mock exam, but that she can't handle both of them at the same time. She asks Usui what's going on, and he says he's lost his way on the way back from the meeting, and that it's his birthday. Um, that's a good sign, because it means that Usui is the only one who's giving Futaro something. Um...what's the deal with giving him something before the exam? Um...that's not a good idea, because the exam is coming up, and giving him a gift before he has to take it will make it harder for him to take the exam. Uh-oh...Usui says that they should all give Futaro a gift after the exam so that he won't have to do it on his own, but Usui points out that they've already given him a pair of tickets to the gym, which would make it even easier to give him the gift after he takes the exam, since he'll have a chance to practice for the exam before he takes it. Um-oh, that sounds like a good plan, right? Usui asks if they'll all give the gift to each other after they pass the exam to make it easier for them to give each other the gift, since they all know that giving each other a gift will make the exam more difficult for them all to take. Um
