The narrator is in the middle of a conversation with his tutor when he realizes that he has no idea how difficult it is to be both a tutor and a student at the same time. He realizes that this is for his sister's sake, and he tries to comfort her by telling her that he is a foreigner who has never seen a foreign country before. He also tells her that she is in love with a war lord, and that he will be teaching her about war lords in the future.
