He explains that he has decided to wear ears ribbon, just like his sisters, because he is afraid that they will be mistaken for his sisters. He tells the narrator that he is worried about keeping up the disguise, because everyone seems to be having a good time. He says that he hopes that he can talk to his sisters while their father is distracted, because they must be serious to their grandfather. The narrator tells the others that they are still the same friends, and that their grandfather must be worried about something. He then tells them that he will give them one more knock-knock knock, but that they must not tell him they are Yotsuba's fakes. He asks them to show him their leg, and then he will be able to tell them who they really are.
