In this short scene, Sakurako introduces himself as a friend of his. He tells us that he's going to perform tonight, and that he and his friend are going to go to a concert together. He's not a great singer, but he'd love to be on stage with his friend. He asks her to go with him, and she says that she's really beautiful and would do a great job on stage. She also tells him that she used to be his friend's older sister's friend, and they used to hang out together when she didn't show up to class. She used to take him to music clubs and bands, and he says that there's a lot of students in bands and music clubs, too. He says that his older sister took him once when he was a middle school student, and it was a really hardcore rock band. The guitar is impossible, he says, because the girl gave up too early. He also says that he doesn't want to be a stand-out in the crowd, so he'll stay inside and chill out. He thinks about how cool it is to be outside, and how he wants to go home and cool off. He wishes that he could turn off the air conditioner, but it's so hot that he can't do it. He wonders how he can set up all of his stuff in his room, and wonders if he should stay there all the time.
