The Governess and her maid, Ruchi, are getting ready to leave for their vacation. Ruchi asks the Governess if they can have some pears from her parents' house. She's not wearing pants, so she's worried that they're going to be too warm. She also wants to know why Ruchi is wearing so many layers of clothes. She asks Ruchi if he's a "libra" , which is a fancy term for a person born on the 6th of October . She says she'll check her horoscope to see if she is a "fairy" or a "liar" . They're all different, she says, but they all have the same thing in common: they are attracted to one another and have a good deal of "com patibility." She also says that she likes the fact that she was born in the age of smartphones, which allow her to get her own birthday and horoscope predictions straight from her smart phone. She tells Ruchi that Ruchi's sister, Kasumi, has come to visit her family in the U.S. and has been unable to come home for a few days. She scolds Ruchi and her sister for not being able to help her sister, who's been crying in a horror movie Ruchi has shown her. The two girls tease each other about how similar they are, and Ruchi says that his sister must be a "kasumi" because she looks so much like her sister.
