About This Chapter
It's been a while since we've heard from Hiroshi, and Hiroshi asks if he can ask for advice. Hiroshi says he'd like to do something different for Valentine's Day. He's not sure if it'll be a good idea to bake something for his girlfriend, but he's also not sure how to do it. He also doesn't want to bake anything for the sake of it, because he thinks it's just a silly thing to do. He asks if anyone else in his class has suggested baking something for her, and everyone agrees that it would be a great idea. But Hiroshi is not so sure. He thinks it might be a bad idea, because everyone thinks he and his girlfriend are going to be together for the rest of the year. He says he wants to make a chocolate ganache for her to eat, but that he'll have to wait until next year to try it out. He wants to buy an e-reader so he can print out all of his own things, and he also wants to check out the latest kitchen equipment. He wishes he had a print-out so he could take care of it himself. The air is still dry, so Hiroshi sighs and says he can't really answer any of his questions. He tells her to write a poem and explain why she's applying for a job. She says she just wants money to survive, but she also says she wants to help others.
