In this chapter, we meet a girl named Sakurako, who has just returned from a trip to the shrine where she gave birth to a baby girl. The girl tells us that she wants to buy a "good luck charm" to help her with her upcoming exams. We also learn that the girl's mother, who is also in the shrine, has bought a charm for her daughter to use as a luck charm on her exams.
