The group is led by one of the soldiers, who tells the others that he is the younger brother of another soldier who has been killed in battle. He asks the other soldiers to help him escape, but they refuse, saying that they are too busy fighting to do so. The other soldiers, however, are not intimidated, and they are ready to help the younger man escape.
