The chapter opens with a description of the life forms known as demi-humans. They do not die, but return to life once they die. If they do, they are called demi humans. They have been found in 45 countries around the world, but there is still much to be learned about their mechanism of survival. The idea that they can live as humans for as long as they want scares the living daylights out of Yusuke, but he is determined to stay as human as possible.
