Knocking on the door, Mrs. Liu asks if she's doing well in her job as a maid. She's not. She tells her that Mr. Liu has become her assistant, and that he's promised to pay her if she doesn't come to work for him. She says that she'll tell him that he bribed her to bring her clothes and to play along with him, and then he'll pay her back. She also says that if she loses her job, her child will need money to go to school. She promises to give her the money the next day, and she promises not to tell anyone about it.
