Even though he's not there yet, aaron tells his mom that he'll be back soon. He tells her that he and his dad are getting married today, but that he won't lose his daughter. He also says that the bride is pretty today, and that she will be under his care from now on. Aaron then tells his dad that he wants to give him a gift: he wants him to pretend to be happy for the rest of the day, so that he can practice "modesty" with some of the other girls. He says he wants his dad to pretend that he is happy for him, too, and then he asks his mom if she'd like to meet some of his relatives. She doesn't want to, so he tells her to go out and talk to some of her relatives. He wants her to get to know them, so she can tell him that she's married to him. He's fine with it, he says, because it's good for him to marry a woman who's his wife's age. But he wants her not to acknowledge him in front of him.
