The narrator thanks him, and says that his actions always make him feel like he is not thoughtful enough. He asks his mom why she has to tell him everything that he does. She says that she's just curious, and that she almost forgot to give him a present. She asks him to accept a token from her parents, but he says that it's too expensive, and he can't take it.
