The next morning, the gang finds nothing but the bones of the dead telephone man. They don't even know who killed him. They're still trying to figure out what to do with Madame Bovary, who's been tormenting them ever since they found out who killed her husband. They decide to surround her with mirrors and smoke so she won't know what they're up to.
