About This Chapter
On the morning of the 11th of September, the Prefectural Police Office finds the body of a 43-year-old man who has been missing from Yatsumori Prefecture for ten years. The body has been buried in four different places, and the only missing part is the right leg, which has not been found by any family. The Prefectural Office finds that the man has been dead for three years, but the truth is that he has been reported as having been missing for 10 years. He has been treated as a dead man ever since. This makes the job even more difficult, since there is no one to question about his whereabouts. The Governess tells the Governess that her little sister has gone out all night, and that no one can find her. The only body that has not yet been found is that of the left leg, and she is worried that the girl is in a group of five friends who have not come home.
